Only what’s necessary
Yogaforgeeks keeps to what it needs in order to work. It has no advertising, analytics or social-media tracking.

What we store
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| ygf_sid | Cookie (first-party, essential) | Keeps you logged in and guards our forms against forgery. It is created only when you log in or open a page that has a form (contact, log in, sign up, forgotten password). | Until you close your browser |
| ygf_age | Local storage | Notes that you confirmed you’re 18 or over in this browser. | Until you clear site data |
| ygf_notice | Local storage | Notes that you dismissed the cookie notice. | Until you clear site data |
| ygf_under | Session storage | Notes that you said you’re under 18, so the age check stays closed in that tab. | Until the tab is closed |
| ygf_start | Session storage | Holds the time your visit began, for the footer clock and the hourly reminder. | Until the tab is closed |
The site needs these in order to work as described, so there is no switch to turn them off, and the banner is only a notice. You can clear them in your browser settings whenever you like; the only effect is that you’ll be asked your age again.
